😀I love teaching children!😀

As a child, I loved playing school. I used to set up the perfect classrooms for my dolls, stuffed animals, and younger siblings. This passion led me to become a public and private school teacher for many years.

After my own children were born and started public school, I discovered that my oldest child needed a specifically tailored learning environment, so I homeschooled him until he graduated from high school. Now that he is in college, I have time to help other homeschooling families by offering my tutoring services and specific enrichment classes.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in English and Education from Indiana University, Bloomington.  I worked for 14 years as a certified teacher in public and private schools for grades K-8 in general education as well as grades 7-12 in English.  I have experience teaching children with special needs as well as children who speak English as a Second Language.

My lifelong hobbies have given me many opportunities to teach others in the areas of fiber arts and culinary arts.  My special areas of teaching include beginning knitting and crochet, cross stitch and embroidery, and baking.  I also love to garden, read, and travel.

I have helped many friends over the years to engage in the homeschooling of their own children, and I have enjoyed celebrating their successes!

😀I am delighted to meet you!😀
